The OffBeat Folk Film Festival

The OffBeat Folk Festival

The OffBeat Folk Film Festival is a new celebration of British folk and working-class culture through film. Building on the success of OffBeat Folk Film Club, this festival brings together archive content and contemporary storytelling to help contribute to a living archive of British culture, traditions, and communities.
What is OffBeat Folk Film Festival?

The festival is dedicated to showcasing films that explore Britain’s rich cultural history, shining a light on new works that capture contemporary folk practice and living traditions. We are looking for submissions of new films that show Britain’s traditional, folk or working culture - whether it’s miners, shepherds, street performers, or pub musicians, these are the stories that really shape Britain’s identity and we want to celebrate them.

12th to 18th of May  2025, London
