Art Club
For the first time, OffBeat Art Club will present a full exhibition of selected works. This year we’re showing more than 80 pieces by artists working across a wide range of mediums, including ceramics, textiles, painting, print and sculpture.
The exhibition brings together artists whose work sits somewhere around the edges of folk, outsider and vernacular traditions. Some pieces draw directly on place, memory and landscape, others take a looser or more playful route through these ideas.
We’re delighted to be hosting the exhibition at Staffordshire St in London, a brilliant artist-led gallery space that has become an important home for independent exhibitions and experimental work.
The show offers a chance to see the breadth of work emerging from the OffBeat Art Club community and to experience the different ways artists are responding to folk culture today.
