Here's to thee, old apple tree! 

Following on from our sold out Christmas screening in Walthamstow, we're going to be kicking off 2026 with a folkier bang, this time of shotguns firing into an apple tree for our OffBeat Wassail. Join us at The Walthamstow Trades Hall on the 12th of January and at SET Social on the 15th of January for an evening of wassailing films to see in the new year! We've already lined up some amazing films that we're going to be screening so come down early to get yourself some food, some cider and a seat at the event of what promises to be a pretty packed year! We're very excited.

OffBeat is very excited to present the London premiere of Moving House's wonderful (and award-winning) film Welcome to the Orchard of England. Join us at Coldharbour Blue for an evening of film, silliness and apple games. Welcome to the Orchard of England has delighted film festival audiences, from Greek islands to Korean mountain villages. Indeed, it’s been so popular in Herefordshire that two local schools have put it on the syllabus. Now, for the first time ever, ‘Welcome to the Orchard of England’ is coming to London! And we're chuffed to be hosting it!

The screening will be followed by apple games, and a taste of this year’s harvest. Start practicing your bite.
