OffBeat’s Big Fat Quiz
Dust off those GCSE’s, gather your cleverest friends and head down to The Mildmay Club in Stoke Newington where OffBeat will be hosting our first ever Big Fat Folk Quiz and Raffle! Each ticket includes a raffle ticket and your chance to win Weird Walk Merch, Hackney Sauna vouchers, Atlantis Records Vouchers and loads more including and original artwork by Wilfrid Wood!!!! (And, of course, cash prizes for the winning quiz team)

Think pub quiz on lovely folky, freshly foraged magic mushrooms. There will be plenty of fun folk questions for everyone as well as music and video rounds, crafts and a spinning wheel! We will also be joined by NTS’s Loose Bones who will be our musical maestro and DJ for the night (and we’ve been promise a psych folk spectacular).
This event is taking place nearly two years from Israel’s war on Gaza. To offer what little help we can, £1.50 from every ticket will go to support The Sameer Project (www.instagram.com/thesameerproject), a donations based initiative, led by Palestinians in the diaspora, working to supply aid to displaced families in Gaza. To further support them, we have asked our folk friends to donate to a raffle, all of the proceeds of which will go to The Sameer Project.

OffBeat presents a night of film and live music celebrating St. Patrick's Day and the Irish diaspora in Britain. Since we started, we’ve tried to celebrate what it is to be British, but how can we tell a complete story of our culture without looking at Britain’s relationship with its closest cousins in Ireland.
